This semester MICA students had the pleasure of taking a course titled “Baltimore Urban Farming”. The goal of the class is to expose the students to the ideas and practicalities of growing food in the city and to challenge them to address their art practices with the issues they discover.
Out of the class, the Whitelock Community Farm gained five new members . They will be at the farm from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Friday, weather permitting.
We are very happy to have them and appreciate all their hard work and love for urban farming.
